  • LiberalMary Ng· October 23, 2023

“I rise in the House today in support of Bill C-57, an act to implement the 2023 Free Trade Agreement between Canada and Ukraine. This is not the first time I have stood in this House to introduce a new trade agreement, but this trade agreement is special.”

  • ConservativeKyle Seeback· October 23, 2023

“Conservatives have a very long, storied and proud tradition of supporting free trade. We only have to look back to the negotiations of the original Canada-United States free trade agreement, which was, of course, something Conservatives were in favour of and that Liberals campaigned very hard against.”

  • BlocMaxime Blanchette-Joncas· October 23, 2023

“I am very pleased to see such enthusiasm for this bill today. We know that there is no shortage of emergencies, including the housing crisis and the climate crisis, but these topics are not on the government's agenda.”

  • NDPRichard Cannings· October 23, 2023
